Xiaomi expected to launch Mi Max 3, the successor of the Phablet phone Mi Max 2 expected to launch soon. The Phone (Mi Max 3) was rumoured to have a massive 7″ display has been confirmed by the specs leak.
Specifications sheet showed up Weibo, the microblogging website. Shows that the phone has a Full-HD 6.99″ screen with 18:9 aspect ratio.
The spec sheet also shows a 12-megapixel rear Camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. And the leaked images confirm the dual-camera setup on the back.
According to the spec sheet, there are two variants of the phone based on their memory configuration- 3Gb LPDDR4 ram and 64b internal memory and 4Gb LPDDR4 ram with 128Gb internal. And the spec sheet also tells that the phone is expected to launch with Snapdragon 635 rocking inside its hood. But that’s just an expectation don’t mark my words on that as there are reports that Snapdragon 660 willpower Mi Max 3.
There will be two variants based on the memory configuration — 3GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 635 processor. However, there’s another report that suggests that the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.
The Snapdragon 635 processor is manufactured with 14 nm process technology and will feature an octa-core Kryo processor. The GPU on the chipset is also expected to be 20 percent more powerful as compared to the GPU on the predecessor.
The Mi Max 3 is expected to have a 5,500mAh battery, which supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology as well as reverse charging. Expecting the phablet to run Android Nougat based MIUI 9 as there is no indication of software on the spec sheet.
The phone is expected to launch in June this. As of the pricing, the phone will start retailing at 1,699 Yuan, which approximately to $264.
