DJI Mavic Air- Redefining portability.


 

The perfect blend of DJI’s both the flagships, The Mavic Pro the prosumer model and Spark the cheapest drone by the company. Mavic Air shares the looks of both the Mavic Pro And Spark, From the top, it has more resemblance to the Mavic Pro, but form certain angles it has a greater resemblance to Spark.

It too has foldable arms like the one on the Mavic Pro, which folds up to a size smaller than Spark and is lighter than the Mavic Pro. In contrary, to the spark, the Mavic Air has a 3-Axis gimbal with a new gimbal casing. The omnidirectional  Antennas have been moved in the landing gear at the end of the arms.

The cooling systems have also been redesigned, for optimal performance. speaking of performance the Drone has 21 minutes of flight time, greater than the Spark but less than the Mavic Pro Platinum. The Camera can record 4K video @30fps or take 12MP stills. The Camera can also record slow motion at 1080p@120fps. The Drone can also take 32MP Sphere Panoramas. All this camera magic is done by a wide-angle 24mm f/2.8 lens.

The top speed of the Drone is  68.4Kph or  42.5 mph. The Antena design makes the drone to transmit the video feed of 720p through dual-band frequencies (2.4GHz or 5.8GHz) with a range of 4KM or  2.5 miles.

With the DJI’s preprogrammed Cinematic functions like Active Tracking– capable of tracking 16 subjects simultaneously, Quick Shots: Rocket, Dronie, Circle, Helix, Asteroid, and Boomerang al the epic selfie drone videos without the need for planning these shots, TapFly– tap the location where you want your Drone to go with programmable light speed. The Drone supports Gestures for full flight controls with Camera control, which is known as SmartCapture.

For Saftey, the Drone relies on its 6 cameras in front, bottom and back in pairs.
