Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with 18:9 display, Dual Cameras and a High Capacity Battery Leaked

Two of the Xiaomi devices passed China’s 3C earlier last month, which was suspected to be the Redmi Note 5 and its bigger variant, one with bigger ram, bigger storage and a better processor.And now the Renders of the phone has leaked on the internet.


The Renders show that the phone will be having 18:9 display and the device shows very thin top and thin bezels. There is also vertical placed Dual-Camera Setup, above of a rear mounted Fingerprint Scanner.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected to have an aluminium unibody and a 5.99-inch 18:9 IPS LCD display with FHD+ (1080 x 2160 px) resolution. Under the hood, it will be rocking a Snapdragon 636 CPU, which will be an upgrade from the 625 on the Redmi note 4, and 3 or 4GB of RAM. it will also have 64GB of Internal Storage. The dual camera setup is condemned to be comprised of a 16MP sensor + a 5MP depth sensor.


The Redmi Note 5 will also be having a large 4,100 mAh battery support for Quick Charge 4.0. The phone will carry a cost of CNY 1499 (around $237) and will supposedly arrive in three colours: grey, black and blue.

We might be seeing these Phones at the MWC later this month.

There have been mockups of this device before, and these renders look similar and much more like a final product.

There is a possibility that leaked renders are not the real production model or may not be accurate to the final product, so for now, it should b considered as a detailed render of the final product or mockups of the final product.
