A new smartphone codenamed ‘Blackshark’ has been spotted in a benchmark listing. While there is no reveal on the makers of this smartphone. But the codename ‘Blackshark’ hints a connection to Xiaomi as the phone’s makers. Since Xiaomi is a backbone and the owner of Black Shark Technology Incorporated.
The AnTuTu listing uncovers some of the key specs of the smartphone, the smartphone rocks a Snapdragon 845 SoC, a 2160×1080 pixel display and also 8GB of RAM under the hood.
In the past, there have been rumours of Xiaomi working on a flagship gaming phone and ‘Blackshark’ could be it, coming to hunt down the Razer phone and its crown.
As there are no reports of unveiling a gaming phone by Xiaomi at the MWC 2018, but as for now, there are only rumours of Xiaomi releasing their Mi Mix 2s on the day of the event. But in the near future, we could expect a gaming phone by Xiaomi.
