The internet was filled with rumours of the Mi 7 and the Mi Mix 2s to be the next Flagship for the Chinese phone maker Xiaomi.
Now we have rumours of Mi Max 3 flooding the internet and the most anticipated rumour is the support for wireless charging.
The specifications was found by XDA developers from FunkyHuawei.com, which was and the rumour is based on afirmware file.
The firmware files show that the phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC and there are slight chances of a variant sporting a Snapdragon 630 SoC. The battrey capcity is 5500mAh as per the files.the report also says that the smartphone will have a 18:9 aspect ratio 6.99-inch display.
And the most anticipated part, the support for wireless charging in Xiaomi Mi Max 3. If the reports are accurate Mi Max 3 would be the first Xiaomi phone to have Wireless charging capabilities.
Since Xiaomi had become a member of the Wireless Power Consortium last year, which is famous for its Qi Wireless charging standard that means we could see a Qi Wireless charging.XDA Developers found two pieces of direct evidence in the firmware that support this claim.
We also have the same report saying that even the upcoming Mi 7 could introduce the same technology.
The report also highlights that the rear camera on Mi Max 3 could have either a Sony IMX363 sensor or a Samsung S5K217+S5K5E8 dual camera setup. For the selfie camera, there will be a S5K4H7 sensor from Samsung, the report also claims that, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 may also come with an Omnivision 2281 iris scanner.
The firmware file also reveals that the smartphone will run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo.
Other features revealed in the leak include dual-SIM slot, dual SD card support, IR Blaster, LED light notifications, audio tuned by Dirac, and support for Qualcomm’s aptX and aptX HD Bluetooth audio codecs. It may also come with dual speakers and a front sensor called “remosic”.
