The expected is happening, the next follow up to the Black Ops series is releasing later this year, with a community reveal on may 17th.
The trailer (rather call it a glimpse of the game) released yesterday.
As with all previous Black Ops games, the new title will be developed by longtime Call of Duty studio Treyarch.
As of now, what we know is what you have read. Activision says the new title “represents a game-changing experience,” but it isn’t providing anything in the way of details just yet. Instead, the company will be revealing more during a live-streamed event on May 17th.
The rumours for the game had been surfacing the internet for several weeks, following a report from Eurogamer in February.
Things got more complicated rather intensified when the NBA star James Harden was spotted wearing a hat with what appeared to be the logo for a new Black Ops game.
Black Ops 4 will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC when it launches in October.
It’s the second reveal of a blockbuster game today, following Ubisoft’s surprise announcement of The Division 2 earlier.
