The yesterday launched Android One flagship Smartphone by Xiaomi, the Mi A2 is hype due to t its low cost and pure android experience. But with the hype, there are some features that are limited to some regions around the globe. Like the Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 is only supported in India while the rest of the world gets the Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. The MI A2 will hit Indian markets on August 8.
This move taken by Xiaomi makes us think that is this because of some licensing agreements or Xiaomi wanted this thing for Indian customers exclusively. But with the Snapdragon 660 SoC inside its obvious that it will support Quick Charge 4.0.
But anyways the version of your Mi A2 supports Quick charge 3.0 or Quick Charge 4.0 you will have to buy the QC 3.0/4.0 capable charger separately since it is not included in the box.
