After the support for the VOOC Flash Charge went MIA for the recent models that OPPO has launched. Now an official promo video shows the flash charge to come back in their next F series phone the F9.
Since the F9 was a secret and it will not be officially unveiled until the 15th, this Wednesday, yep they are planning to unveil it on India’s Independence Day, but the secret is now out in open with the launch of their promo video.
The F9 will have a 3,500mAh battery with VOOC flash charge – 5 minutes of charging gets you 2 hours of talk time, claims the ad.
The video features a Taiwanese singer/actress Hebe Tien, who walks you through the key features (there are English subtitles). The phone will have a diamond pattern on the back with a gradient and will be available in two colours: Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue.
The Oppo F9 will be sporting dual rear camera, a first for the F-series, and it supports Portrait mode. According to rumours, the camera should be 16MP + 2MP sensors. The tiny notch on the front houses a 25MP selfie camera.
The screen is reported to be a 6.3” 1080p+ panel and the claimed screen-to-body ratio is over 90%. This could be the first phone launch with the new Gorilla Glass 6. A MediaTek Helio P20 chipset will be the powerhouse to the phone and the phone will ColorOS 5.2 a skin based on Android Oreo.
