Lenovo Z5 Pro GT To Debut With Snapdragon 855 And 12 Gigs Of RAM


With the launch of Z5s today on a launch event by Lenovo, but Lenovo didn’t stop there it had prepared a big surprise for us. There was a beefier version of the Z5 which is the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with Snapdragon 855, the first phone to launch with the latest Snapdragon SoC, and a 12 GB of RAM.

This phone by Lenovo is made by keeping Speed in their mind, that means that this phone is all about speed. Which can be clearly seen as the phone packs racing vibes to it and the promo picture also shows a Bugatti Chiron which is one of the fastest cars created till date. With faster hardware, the aesthetics also gives racing vibes, the back glass panel has a Carbon Fiber texture and it has red accents on the rim of the top side, on the camera borders and the bottom half of the slider.

Other specs of the phone remain unchanged and are similar to the Lenovo Z5n Pro – 6.4” Super AMOLED display with a fingerprint scanner underneath, sliding mechanism, hiding the 16 MP + 8 MP dual selfie camera setup, while the main shooters are 16 MP primary lens and 24 MP secondary sensor.

There are three variants with three price tags – 6/128 GB for CNY2,698 ($390/€340), 8/25 GB for CNY3,398 or $500/€440, and the most powerful one with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage costs CNY4,398 or about $650/€560. Pre-order begins on January 15, while the official market launch is scheduled for January 24.
