T-Series becomes the most subscribed channel with 100 Million + subscribers in the world.
The ongoing battle between the two YouTube giants has a winner now. This major achievement has also been recognised by Guinness World Records. PewDiePie is likely ti cross the 100 million mark within a week.
T-Series took to twitter to announce this global achievement and thank its fans. T-Series has also earned 70 billion + views
This battle caused more traction in subscribers to both the channel. Bhushan Kumar, Managing Director of T-Series, had urged celebrities to help spread the word on their social handles asking Indians to subscribe to T-series. One factor of increase in subscribers also goes to mobile network operator Reliance Jio which made 4G available to a vast majority of population of india at affordable rates.
T-Series was founded in Delhi by Gulshan Kumar in 1983. It first indulged in releasing devotional music and top-selling Bollywood soundtracks. Later, it expanded into film production as well. Bhushan Kumar took over after his father’s death, and launched the YouTube channel in 2006.
