Huawei Maimang 8 the new midranger for the Chinese market. The Maimang 8 is similar and shares the same design language with the last year launched Huawei P Smart+ 2019.
The phones sport a 6.21inch FHD+ resolution IPS panel with waterdrop styled notch. The notch carries the 8MP selfie camera. On the back with the fingerprint scanner, it also rocks a triple camera setup with the 24MP main shooter, 16MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor.
On the inside, the phone is powered by Kirin 710 SoC paired 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The device has a 3400mAh battery, no c-type charger for the battery. And the storage can be expanded via MicroSD up to 512GB.
On the Software perspective, it runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 skin on it.
The Maimang 8 will come in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue colours with a starting price of CNY 1,899 ($274/€244). Pre-orders begin today while the official release is scheduled for June 12.
