Today Samsung added a new member to their smartphone lineup, M40 the punch holed mid-ranger was launched today with Snapdragon 675 and a screen that not only house the punch hole camera but also turns into a speaker.

The phone rocks a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display. With 91.8% of screen to body ratio. punched hole screen also houses the 16MP F2.0 aperture camera. Samsung calls this display the Infinity O display.
Below the display, the Octa-core 11nm Snapdragon 675 is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB with the help of MicroSD card.
On the back, there is a triple camera setup with 32MP F1.7 camera as the main snapper, 5MP F2.2 as a focus camera and 8MP 123 degrees wide angle camera. The back also houses the fingerprint scanner.
The phone has a thickness of 7mm and comes in two colour variants- Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue. The phone runs on Android Pie (Android 9) with the One UI skin on it.
The phone has a 3500mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The phone also can be unlocked using face unlock. The phone loses the 3.5mm jack but ships with c-type earphones.
With the help of Screen Sound Technology, the screen turns into a speaker during calls.
The phone will go on sale on 18th June at a price point of INR19,990 ($288) and the phone will be available across all the popular online retailers in India including Amazon, Flipkart and Pricebaba starting June 18. Availability and pricing for other markets haven’t been detailed at this point.
